Spins and first snowfall

A few weeks ago I pulled about 16 pairings for vintage spin blocks and I am very slowly cutting them and then sewing them. So here is the latest batch of blocks.

And for those of you in the Northeast USA, please look away. If you can believe it, this is our first snow of the winter. This is the accumulation after about 8 hours. It is a very light granular snow which means I won't be snow dyeing with it. This picture is the view of a bench on the back deck.

I love our snow! Unfortunately I don't think it's going to be a normal "melted in 3 days" snow.

Great fabric selection again in these four blocks, love the rich red marbled/feathered fabric lower left block.
