Spiders and stars

Yes. I started a new quilt today. A spider web that has been on my list of "I like the design but I don't want to fool with the paper." I'm using Bonnie Hunter's tutorial (and an old phone book for the paper) and so it is much less painful than I had anticipated. I haven't gotten to the paper removal part yet. Hmmm...that might be a good program for Kitten U.

And let's not forget the four-a-day wonky stars.

That one's on my list, too! (Though at this point, it might be easier to list the quilts that *aren't* on my list. If I can think of any... Huh.)
Anyway, it's gorgeous already, and it's making me itch to start one, too.

I actually enjoy the taking off of paper! A good TV watching exercise.

I have had a spider web pattern on my wish list too....but just the mess of endless strings plus pulling off paper has put me off. Still I like yours, even more so with the blue background and the yellow defining the webs. Will look forward to seeing this one progress.

Your spiderweb is looking great. Isn't it easy and effective. You don't really have to match much. I am doing 3 of them for the Aussie Heroes on deployment. They use up so many scraps....
