Plaid Standing Bunnies

Four new standing bunnies have joined the group. I had made piles with mixed and matched plaids, but my piles were getting disrupted by relentless kitten activity. That was my motivation for moving back to this project.

Here's the full collection that I've made so far. I usually use a common background fabric, but this time I'm mixing it up. Before this project, however, I had very few plaids. And finding light plaids has not been all that easy, so I have supplemented my collection by a trip to a thrift store to buy plaid shirts. I can see how that could become an addictive activity.

And this is the look of a kitten trying to comprehend the word "No." Molly wants to jump over to the ironing board but I am stopping her by being annoying and taking her picture.

Here is Molly reassessing her options in her thinking chair...that is, my sewing chair. And that is a cat toy in front of Molly's tail and not some horrible disease.

Funny you should write about plaids today. I just discovered a stash of 7-8 plaid flannel fabrics I'd forgotten about. My grown sons still wear boxers, so that's what I'll be doing with my plaids.... Molly is losing her kitten face, but she is so beautiful!

You ware spot on aren't you with your interpretation of the look from Molly, I love the way those beautiful dark stripes leave the corner or her eyes and go out to the side of her face - just like a beautiful pair of eyebrows!
Lovely bunnies too!!

Bunniez!!! (I've fallen under the spell of plaid, as well...)
I think Molly is just waiting for you to glance away so she can make another attempt at the ironing board. I've seen that look before.

Oh the plaid bunnies are just divine, love them, so worth a trip to the store to buy shirts, so you get a bigger collection of fabric!

Yes, indeed, buying plaid shirts at the thrift store has been addictive to me! I keep telling myself, "Enough!" And then I see one I just can't possibly leave at the store because it's a great color, it's a triple-X large (so lots of fabric), and it costs just 50 cents or some such ridiculous price. I have too many plaid shirts. I should send you some parts and pieces. Again, I love your bunnies. Did you create the pattern?
