Brown Striped Fish

Here's a brown striped striped fish. I probably should have paid more attention to the directions of the striped batik fabric. But here at the beginning of the year, I am not quite as familiar with the pattern as I will be towards the end of the year. To see what others are concocting from their brown scraps, visit the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge.

This was my view from the sewing room this morning. Quite a fitting backdrop for assembling today's striped fish.

  5. I love Mr Stripey, even if he's every-which-way. Or maybe because he's every-which-way...
Nice view, but looks like way too early in the morning.

  9. Nature is not always exact! You nailed the background fabric, that swirly water is great. Love the view, would be sad to get tired of that.
