Dear Jane Progress

Here's my progress on the Dear Jane (and Alternate Jane Universe) quilt(s). Fabadashery is celebrating her six month anniversary since she began her Dear Jane journey. I began following along some time after that, but then I haven't caught up yet either. I do have four triangles finished but I didn't get them up in time.

By now I assume you know to expect Molly the adopted kitten to weigh in with her choice of blocks. She must have been in a good mood because she only took down ten of the blocks. But it was early in the day. And she has learned a new technique where she can bring the blocks down by simply pulling at the bottom of the wall. This is not as strenuous as climbing it.

And as you can see my design wall as developed a bulge. Behind it are shelves of flat folds of fabric.  Typhoon is wedged behind the bottom stack of fabric forming that bulge. Molly has learned that she can attack Typhoon and rain blocks all at the same time.
Here's the four inches of snow we received on Monday.

And this is the freezing rain that greeted us this morning.

I can't decide if the clown , the panda or the snail is my favourite. Great to see your collection of blocks.

I can't believe how many blocks you have already, seeing one, two or three in your posts is amazing but all together - wow! Clever Molly I have to say and poor old Typhoon! Your huge trees and the snow look so inviting, I can imagine ambling along there all wrapped up in warm Winter clothes.

Freezing rain: how can something so lethal look so beautiful? (Actually, the same could be said for cats, I suppose...)

And there's Molly, hard at work with her efficiency studies, with poor Typhoon as one of her test subjects. Hopefully she'll finish her paper soon and go back to String Theory.

I've been away from reading blogs for a while while we were traveling. You really have accomplished a lot on your Dear Jane. Freezing rain. Ugh. That is the worst. It is beautiful, but so destructive.

Oh, this just takes my breath away. You make me want to start my own Kaffe Dear Jane quilt. But I have so many other projects in progress. I must resist...I must resist!
