Purple fish

Here are two purple fish that swam into a rather chaotic sewing room. But they didn't want to miss celebrating Purple March at the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge.

And here are all the fish I've made so far. You can also see where I made a mistake on the top left purple fish. I fixed it in photoshop for the first photo, and next I will fix it in real life.

I'm a bit confused as to how I could make a mistake when I'm so closely supervised.

Then again, I may just be anticipating all of the harsh criticism I know I will receive. Molly definitely has "modern" tastes and prefers a lot of negative space, that is, an empty design wall.

hmph, everyone's a critic. Too many chefs in the kitchen! She'll be lucky to keep her tail if she takes up residence on the cutting table.

Your cat makes me laugh! Does she climb up the wall to get your blocks? Maybe she is hungry for fish?!

Your fisches looks great. I would leave that one as it is is. The quilt inspector didn't oint at it. ♥ I love cats.

Molly is a crack up; she must’ve gotten her sense of humor from you. Maybe you should switch names and call HER Typhoon?!? Hopefully she will stop climbing so much when she reaches adulthood. In the meantime, maybe it was a hint for some tuna? I love your fish blocks! (but then, I’m a Pisces). Happy Weekend!

Well, fish is excellent bait in a cat trap...

Your fish blocks are totally adorable! That background you are using are just perfect for them. :)

Perhaps, your supervisor was having a bit of a "catnap" when you made that error (which, by the way, I didn't even notice!)

Hmm. Wonder how this fish will taste? Don't worry about fixing any mistakes. I also didn't notice it. These fish are tropical beauties.

Love, love these fish!! I have to ask where did you buy that beautiful purple with the small coloured dots, is it batik? It's just wonderful, as is your pics of Molly hurtling up the design wall and catching a fish!

I love your background fabric.

Molly obviously did not mind any mistake, it apparently would not affect the flavor. Were they devoured once they hit the floor. I hope not because they are charming fish.

I have a supervisor who is about as much help as Molly!! Not sure why I don't put her outside LOL

You must be a whiz at Photoshop. I can barely load in photos to my PhotoShop Elements. But don't even need to worry about that anymore since it was working then quit with new laptop and Windows 10. I could barely tell there was a mutant purple fish until you pointed it out.

How nice to have a design wall AND an assistant.
