Orange owl

An orange applique owl flew into my sewing room and wanted to know what other wonderful orange delights might be happening over at the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge.

He was so excited by what he saw that he invited his friends...or maybe he brought them as decoys for Molly the kitten who attacks patchwork on the design wall.

Your owls are just great - especially their eyes! Mesmerizing!

I love these appliqué owls! Each one is cuter than the last.... by the way, how much of that KF background fabric do you have??? It’s delightful, but has Molly approved it?

Love his wide-eyed, slightly puzzled look. Maybe he is still a young owl, not old and wise yet. His polka dots are very cute, like him.

Their eyes are amazing - lovely KF fussy cut fabric!

Hmmm, is it a flock or owls or a murder, like crows? Or something else altogether? In any case they are the most delightful collection I've seen yet!

You were right when you said Kaffe fabrics made good owls. Applique now? Are you still making the pieced ones too or do you have enough of those now for a quilt?
