Spiderweb progress

Today I decided to make some progress on the spiderweb quilt. As I'm sewing, it seems to come together so fast as the strip-pieced triangles pile up. Then when four triangles form a block, the progress doesn't seem as fast. But that's okay. It's still a lot of fun to make.

I've mentioned that Molly is starting a paper shredding business and one day she practiced with my spiderweb foundations. Recently, I laid out some tissue paper for her and that has become her new favorite place. As kittens, Molly and Buddy didn't like the feel or noise of tissue paper. Buddy is still not a fan, but Molly seems to prefer it and is leaving other sources of destruction alone. Yay!

Here she is helping to keep my sewing chair warm.

I love the turquoise color for the spider web blocks--it really highlights them!

Your Spider Web is so colourful, the yellow and turquoise go so well together Can you train Molly to help you remove the papers??

I was going to make the same suggestion - she'd be a huge help in removing the papers. Though she'd have to give up that part-time job as a chair warmer...
