Dear Jane D2 and Alternate Revisited

This is Dear Jane Block D2 or Mouse in the Mirror. I think I got it mixed up with Bread Basket. But I guess we'll assume that the Mouse ate the Bread and is now checking himself out in the Mirror. I didn't construct this as specified by either Jane or the Dear Jane book. Instead I broke it down so I could use strip piecing.  I can see some parts are a bit catawampus, but that might be appropriate for a mousie block.

With the new owl addition, I thought I should also see how the Alternate Jane Stickle Universe is progressing.

Is that a clown? Second row, fifth block? I've never had a clown phobia but that might just get me going...
On the other hand, I adore the old-fashioned eraser and the snail!

Alternate Jane lives in an interesting universe...

Suzi thinks there would have been cat sticks in the alternative universe. So hard to choose a favourite.

I love the boat with the owl and the pussycat best! I hate the clown - not because of anything you did, but because I just hate clowns and that one LOOKS like a properly creepy clown. Overall, the Alternate blocks are smashing!!
