Novelty Fabric

I am SO disappointed. The answer to yesterday's pop quiz was Molly. No other answer was acceptable. And only one reader caught on that Buddy the dog would not be capable of posting a coherent post...so yes, it was me, pretending to be Buddy. At least, dear Fabadashery was suspicious.

As your punishment, today's draw is for 12 fat quarters of novelty fabric. Warning: some of the fabric may contain pigs and/or monkeys. If you are interested in participating in the drawing, please leave a comment. Of course, at this point it doesn't matter what you write because nothing will erase my bitter disappointment.

Well omigosh!!! I have never seen those Laurel Burch elephants!!! And lots of kitties here - my Rocky would love those :*). I am sorry you were so disappointed yesterday and hopefully today will be a better day 😻

The good news is that I have fabric cutter which could cut the dog fabric up so small it was indistinguishable. Don't mind pigs and monkeys.

Oh, I'm sorry, Molly. In my inhumanity, I mistook your motivation. When I saw you pretending to be Buddy, I thought there must be some kind of mistake, but in deference to your superior intellect, I decided to overlook it to avoid empurrassing you. Please forgive me idiocy in thinking I might know something that you didn't. Impurrtinent of me, I know. If groveling will help, I will gladly do it.

Molly, you would have not liked me if I would have posted yesterday. Cats make my hands break out so there are no cats living at my house. There aren't any dogs either. Hopefully you can get over your disappointment.

Me-new told me the answer was Molly but I didn't believe her. Should have known from experience that cats are always right.

Dearest Molly, I'm not sure your disappointment is warranted. Most of us prefer cats, and YOU would NATURALLY be the cat of preference. It goes without saying! So many of us didn't say it, not wanting to hurt "Buddy"'s feelings in public.

Oh, Molly! I am so sorry I didn't see yesterday's post. You are so underappreciated by some of your followers. Hope you have a better day today. :)

Couldn't have gotten a sweeter photo of Molly than this one! Molly, does that make feel any happier?

Looks like Molly and Buddy hand-pawed today's fabrics! They must be the favorite animal friends from each that are portrayed on the fabric. Meee-ow!!

Forgive me, Molly, for not recognizing your superior intellect working behind the scenes to portray Buddy as any kind of creature capable of reasoning. GIMME! Was a clever inclusion to lead us off the track. Today,s photo of you is serene and above all the fray.

Happy Birth Day Molly. Everyday is a birth day. I'm sorry I missed the clue about Buddy, but I enjoyed the story and the pictures of your growth. My Lovely like to play in my box, which holds my hair curlers. As I see you like yours as it holds some soft fabric. As for your friends, I am partial to those ornery pigs that are just sitting there and looking at your like ""what"". They are so cute.

You had me at pigs and monkeys. But you knew that...

What, no seahorses or bunnies? And I immediately thought of Gayle when I saw the pigs and monkeys.

It wasn't MY fault!!! I would have recognized your paw in a New York minute, but, unfortunately, I was busy saying farewell to my sister, who was returning to Georgia, and missed your post. I hate that, as I KNOW I would have known it was you!! (lynnstck[at]yahoo.com)

What a novel idea but Gayle usually hogs all the monkey business.
