Red fish

Here is a fish as red as a rose.

And here are his companions. Well, oops. The one on the bottom is missing a stripe and isn't as long as the others. Is he defective? Or is he a better fish?

And now I realize that the big red fishes have their bottom fin in the wrong place. Or is it in the right place? In either case, I expect to spend time with a seam ripper.

Meanwhile, kitten neglect has reached criminal levels. Molly has sophisticated methods to get my attention when I'm at the design wall, cutting table and the ironing board. But how to get my attention away from the sewing machine? Pulling the thread and running down the hall is okay in a pinch. But recently she has figured out how to push behind the fabric baskets and get into the notions drawer which sits right next to the sewing machine. She can then knock treacherous items down to Buddy. Yes, this gets my attention. Here I have removed the basket that sits above the notion drawer so I can pull her out.

Lovely swimmers! Have fun with the seam ripper - a very handy invention indeed.
Tell Molly she has a friend in Nw Zealand who likes exactly the same hiding place, there is now only one set of baskets that allow her enough room to get in there.

Lovely fish; a lot of "gold"fish are red anyway, and why worry about a misplaced fin? Who's going to notice?

I can tell that one of your fish is going to be a star! I always enjoy the cat glimpses and stories. There's no one here to amuse me like that! Well, except my hubby, but he usually leaves me in peace when I head down to my sewing room!

Naughty kitty has the fish swimming out of control. SEW sorry about the seam ripper. Wonderful selection of reds and golds used this month!

Here I was thinking that the cat was going to be caught eating the fish! But no sitting in notions draw is bound to attract your attention much quicker! Love the red fish.

The red fish are so colorful and maybe are a genetic variant with one less stripe and the forward fin. God does not make mistakes or use a seam ripper on us if we have red hair instead of brown. They are just unique, that's all. Or you can blame it on the cats.

Molly is neglecting YOUR supervision because she knows "All work and no play makes Molly a dull cat". And she is anything but. Her creativity continues to shine in the exploration department. However, her human staff seems to need her supervision; fish need fins, not wings. Just remind her that neglect goes both ways!

(Was that knocking items down 'to' Buddy or knocking items down 'at' Buddy?)
This post clearly shows Molly is slacking in her supervisory position. She needs to get that nose out of the drawer and back to the grindstone!

I've missed blog reading for several day but had to come catch up on Molly's antics. She's one clever cat. Bet she's salivating over the fish blocks.
