Milestones

Here are Buddy and Molly giving their last critique of the Dear Jane quilt. And while they turned one year old in August, its been a year since I brought Team Storm home to foster. Unsuccessfully. Only one member found gainful employment while the other two languished behind and became total slackers.

Okay, with hindsight, the limited potential is glaring.

And that mouse toy between Molly's paws is still a favorite. Except now it no longer has any stuffing and the coloring is more a cross between brown and cat spit.

And it was more than a year ago that I began making the Dear Jane quilt. I still need to add the infamous triangle border...except in my case the triangles will not be pieced.

Here is a closer view.

And yes, the turquoise baby quilt is finished.

So it's obviously time to start a new quilt. How about Pickle Dish?

And because this blog post went on so long, I think we should end it with a sunset.

Looks like your Dear Jane meets with their approval! Like the fabrics you have in your Pickle Dish, I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of this! Just look at the beautiful pink and orange in that sky, a beautiful time of day.

Still awestruck by your colourful Dear Jane.

Not sure why all cat toys are not originally designed in the brown / cat spit combo. It would save time.
Dear Jane is looking superb. I wish I could be there in person to gush over it like your other supporters.

Dear Jane is wonderful. Glad you persevered and thanks for sharing it with us through the process. And kudos to your feline assistants who provided so much encouragement.

Certainly you owe any current quilting accomplishments to Team Storm.

DJ top looks fantastic as does the baby quilt, so love the color. Hmmm cannot believe you started a new quilt - you should bottle your motivation and sell it, definitely make a tidy profit! Never made pickle dish myself so will be following the process with great interest.
