Pickledish and the Supermoon

I thought the pickledish might benefit from a lighter background. But now I don't think so.

I wasn't able to take pictures of the rising of the supermoon because of cloud cover. However, here it is setting over the blue ridge. There was some remnant of cloud cover. I did drive off to see if I could find a better view. There is a winery on a ridge nearby and I went there to get a better shot.

But then when I got home again, I found the best shot of the morning. Again, the supermoon setting over Pasture Mountain.

Beautiful shot of the moon! We missed it here due to cloud cover but I believe it's going to be visible to us again Dec 14, I think!

Second try - Pickle Dish. I loved the grey Fern you had as the background, you're right, the spot seems to light.

what beautiful fabrics in the Pickle Dish arcs. Lovely paper piecing. Sea horses are so cute and colourful and you are so lucky to have such attentive 'helpers'.

Your pictures of the moon are amazing! I really like the one through the clouds! I like the background you showed originally for the pickledish best!

Maybe use both backgrounds for your pickles? (You know me - the more fabrics the merrier!)

Ah, wineries usually have the best shot of most everything....or at least you don't mind if they aren't just perfect!

I actually like this lighter background for the pickle dish. Nice pictures of the moon. We didn't see it, so it's nice to see the pictures.
