Dress for Success

I went to Sisters, OR for their outdoor quilt show and I fell in love with this fabric. It was part of a border in a quilt by Sarah Fielke that was displayed in the Teacher's tent. I'm thinking it might be a Kokka, but if someone knows for sure, you know where to reach me. I'm the one sitting behind boxes and boxes of fabric. And yes, I did visit the Stitchin' Post and bought nothing...because if I bring one more thing into this apartment it will explode.

Meanwhile, if you read about Sadie's adventures over at Cat Patches, you should know that Molly has started a "Free Molly" campaign. Here she is looking pathetic in her brown paper toy. Her only companion is a stupid taupe dog. And I don't have the heart to tell her that that are major issues with the house to resolve before I can even think about a catio. So for now, she will have to be happy with window treatments as her prey.

If you go to etsy and search for Kokka fabric, there are 70 (70!) pages! Then I tried "Kokka fabric dog" and found this:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/291749523/12-yard-circus-animal-in-pink-japanese?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=kokka%20fabric%20dog&ref=sr_gallery_10

No triangles in the background, though. Bummer.

I did a reverse image search for that fabric, and all the resulting pages seem to be in Japanese. Sample:

Perhaps Sarah bought it in Japan?

I follow Sarah on Instagram and she seems very responsive when people leave questions for her. I checked her website, and there's an email address listed for her. Also, there's a mention she designed fabrics for Lecien, Spotlight Australia and Windham - maybe the fabric is one of hers?

Why didn't you stalk Sarah to find out what the fabric is?

Amish kittens are cute as is your little guy. Good luck with the hunt and outings with sister, a wonderful thing.

Which house are you going with -- that first one with the problem inspection, or the one in Milwaukie?
