Tabloids and Giveaway September

Poor Molly. I assume no one is surprised that compromising photos would surface shortly after Molly's successful launch as winner of Best Cat on a Quilt, also known in local circles as BCU, Best Cat in the Universe.

And yes, apparently the rumors of her licking her pet pony are true.

To take her mind off this new scandal, Molly is going to sponsor a fabric giveaway. Starting tomorrow, we'll open five moving boxes and cut ten (or so) fat quarters from the boxes we open and post them for that day's giveaway. After a week of collecting comments, Molly will randomly pick a winner for each day's bundle. Hopefully, this will help me get unpacked and help Molly get her mind off the tribulations of stardom.

This is exactly what happened to Suzi when she won a prize. All the excitement of being an internet sensation. I noticed a few KITTENS entered, so Molly did well to beat off the cute competition.

Both of my furballs had the honor of Cat on Quilt in years past - although they weren't as impressed (especially Moe as sometimes I think he is standing behind the door-not with it).

Oh, Molly...I hope there were no purrpurrazzi following us with our night on the town a few nights ago. My mom is feeling all sorry for me because she thought I was up a tree. If those photos surface...oh boy. I'll really be in the dog house. Worrying now, Smitty.

Well, Molly does seem to live life large. (Though that pony-licking photo looks staged. Check out her facial expression for proof...)
(And shouldn't Molly have given away all your fabric BEFORE you moved? (twice at that))

Dear Molly, I will stand by you as a friend, I don't care what the tabloids say! Besides, I have a crush on your pony. Or dog, or whatever.... you know, Buddy. Best, Darla.

What a fun way to unpack your fabric. I bet you are enjoying seeing all the lovely things packed away.
