Do you have a void in your life? For example, if you were asleep at 4 AM, you don't have Tommy Cat in your life. Well, today we're having a GIVEAWAY to help fill a void. While Tommy would like to send you a kitten, I'm offering the next best thing: fabric.
In celebration of Tommy turning 18 years old this month and to participate in Vicki W.'s Summer Giveaway, I'm offering 18 fat quarters of cat fabric. Or as an alternative, 18 fat quarters in the color of your choice. Or 18 fat quarters of batiks (assorted colors). To be included in this giveaway, please leave a comment letting me know your preference: cats, batik, yellow, blue, red, orange, pink, teal/turquoise, purple, green, black, or black and white. And to the best of my ability, I will try to keep Tommy from slipping a kitten in with your winnings. (Comments received before July 5 will be included, with the random winner announced July 5.)
And for those of you who can't get enough yellow, here are my yellow fish for the Scrappy Rainbow challenge.

  2. What a face!!!! Love your fish... and no, I don't need a kitten. But thanks for the offer, Tommy! Maybe Tommy would like some of those fish for his birthday!

  3. I am thinking the same thing, Tommy is eyeing those fish! I am lacking red in my stash but with a schnauzer in the house there is no room for kittens.

  4. Batiks are my weakness, and your collection of cat fabric gives me the giggles. My kitty, Inky, usually waits until five before jumping on my stomach and demanding to be petted!

  5. Oh, those fish are sooooo cute. I made some 6 inch blue crumb fish last year. What is your size, please?

Oh, I LOVE novelties and have a drawer of cat fabrics but I don't think any of your cats on fabrics look familiar to me.

No void here in re cats...we live in the country and have a bed (in the barn) and breakfast (bowls of cat food and all the field mice they can find) for all the strays that show up every day - usually about 15 of them. (I think city people get a cat, don't want them anymore and bring them out to the country and let loose. That's why we run a "cat house"!)

  12. Visiting from Vicki's linky! I'd love to win the batiks. I haven't used them much, and this year I am doing a block of the month all in batiks on my blog. I'm probably a no-reply, so you can find me at craftnut at rocketmail dot com. Carole @ From My Carolina Home.

  24. Love your "goldfish"! And congrats to Tommy for 18 wonderful years! FWIW, I'm usually awakened at 3 AM by Moxie cat, who thinks that's the best time for ear scratches.

  25. Love the fish Sally - but better watch out for more cats coming along shortly to keep company with Tommy!! As you know I have stacks of cats living in my sewing studio - sixty to be exact - so I'm quite overrun with four legged furry critters - I could have a ball with batiks though!!

  26. Tommy is just beautiful. I would happily give him house space except I think my Tibby would throw a hissy fit. I would loooove the kitty fabrics if I were to be lucky enough to be selected.
Your yellow fish are just too cute. Luckily Tommy hasn't seen them or they might be a figment of your imagination.

  30. The fish blocks are TOO cute! I love the cat fabric idea...I don't have much of that but know a few folks who would love something quilty made with cat fabric! :) I have a kitty so hope not to see any live kitties come to my door! :)

  31. I love the fish!
I'd choose orange as I have hardly any in my stash !

  32. Midgie, Squeaky and Zorro voted for me to ask for the cat fabrics if I win!
As much as I would adore a kitten, I don't think my current clowder would appreciate one. Maybe Tommy can visit my blog for Feline Friday sometime...

  33. Oranges, please! I have a serious deficit of them.

This is very generous of you, and I have enjoyed looking at your many quilt critters! Cats, kittens, cranes, mice, and fish...oh my!

p.s. I have an old "redhead" and white cat, too, but a girl! She's over 21 years old (on a human calendar!) Fortunately,I also have a husband, who takes the morning calls.
