Here are two brown seahorses to join the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge. I intended to make one seahorse facing in each direction, but got turned around early. I must have been seeing stars in my eyes.
I love them, right down to their curly little tails! (You'll just have to make two more, facing in the opposite direction, right?) (Or four more facing that way if things don't go as planned...)

Love that background fabric -- and doing blocks in reverse is definitely tricky business.
ReplyDeleteThose are cute, cute! I love them in the contrasting browns. If you make more, good luck reversing them.
ReplyDeleteThey are both pretty. I have a hard time getting blocks to face the correct direction too.
ReplyDeleteLovely batiks. These two sea horses just aren't confrontational - they'd rather play a game of tag.
ReplyDeleteThe starry seahorse is flirting with the spotted one, I think. They are a sweet pair.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteTruly can't wait to see all yur smashing se horses at the end of the year! Keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteCute. Will these mix with other underwater creatures like mermaids and starfish and your fish? Or will they be their own quilt?
ReplyDeleteYou could almost imagine them in the water! Great fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteYou are funny! Your seahorses are fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteEspecially love the seahorse on the left. Great fabric.
