I was so surprised to learn that I won Miss Congeniality! The Feline Academy of the Arts (and you thought the FAA was about airplanes!) voted me the most congenial cat, which is short hand for the best cat on the planet. I was so delighted I even stopped biting my brother for a second.
So for my acceptance speech, I would like to thank the Academy for this special award. And I appreciate that this award is given by feline professionals, not just a bunch of quilters who have cats lying around on quilts. And I received a special boa wand with a bell, not another pile of quilter stuff. I would also like to thank the Academy for acknowledging my hardship with having to deal with cats like Rocky McFakeyFace and Sadie McWormyPants. And now, if you will excuse me, I have an after party to attend.
I wouldn't have thought that 'congeniality' was a quality Molly aspired to... 'World Domination', maybe...
ReplyDeleteWow! A boa wand - with a BELL????? Wow! That's a super-awesome award Molly! What I wouldn't give for a boa wand with a bell ... Mine only has feathers on the end of it. Although we've only met through the Webs, I can tell that you absolutely deserve this special award... Although I do wonder if they know about your habit of biting your brother? Not to mention some of the less-than-flattering nicknames you come up with for your closest furriends? 🙀 Of course you know that I am pretty smitten with you, and there's nothing fake in that! Purrs and Headbutts - Rocky 😻😻😻
ReplyDeleteDear Molly, name-calling aside (and one must admit that's very CATTY of you), we would like to extend our congrats to you on your recent coronation as Miss Congeniality. Purrs, Alfalfa and Darla
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely a winner!!! What a face... so cute!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Molly - from both myself (the quilter) and Leila the kitty.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Molly, for the well deserved award. Now if only Buddy could win in the *dog* category ... tee, hee!
