Yes, it's time to get back to sewing and Dear Jane. So here is Dear Jane block D8 or Dee Dee's Delight.
And while we're on a roll, here's Dear Jane block E7 or Bread Basket.
And yes, more bow tie blocks. I'm getting enough now to play around a bit with the layout. I'm aiming for ten by ten blocks, or roughly 40 by 40 inches.
And Molly agreed to have her photo taken because she realized that you might be dreadfully bored by now. As you can see, she's still just as adorable. She does seem to want a bit more lap time than usual.
You can't have many more Dear Jane blocks to make, it's a real labour of love with these small blocks, at leas it would be for me. Tell Molly we're (myself and Leila) pleased to see a recent photo of her enjoying some rest and relaxation. Your bow ties are lovely and 40" x 40" would be a nice size.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to "see" you and Molly again. I was hoping you weren't placing a moratorium on sewing/quilting. Tell Molly that Alfie and Darla are a bit spooked, too, by the construction around here. We've placed another litter box downstairs in case they go there to retreat from the occasional mayhem. They've been particularly needy/affectionate of late. Damn Bloglovin' won't take me to your blog even when I click on "view original post". I now have to get out of the app, go to your blog and then I can see the sidebar and comment section, etc. Does anyone else hate Bloglovin'?
ReplyDeleteSuzi was going to resort to posting a photo of herself due to the dearth of cat photos on this blog. Glad to see normal service resumed.
ReplyDeleteNice bread basket.
The bow ties are really looking great! The background fabric really gives them movement! :)
