Turquoise and yellow baby quilt top

I loved the little quilt that Cynthia put together over at Quilting is more fun than housework. She always convinces me that it will be fun and easy. I have wanted to play with turquoise and yellow, plus I wanted to make another donation baby quilt.

But let me give you some advice if you share your sewing room with others. Take a picture of your layout before you leave the room. Otherwise you may find unwanted input into your design process. And then the quilt is no longer as fun and easy as advertised. However, as you can see from the previous photo, I did get the quilt top assembled.

Here is a close up of some of the fabrics. I did throw in a few four patches for good measure.

  1. Oh, Sew pretty! Do you share your sewing space with four legged fur balls?

  3. Anything with 4-patches and bunnies is an automatic winner!
I'm sure your helpers had your best interests at heart. Or something. Sure.

  5. Love the colors in this little quilt. Maybe I need to rethink wishing I had helpers sometimes :)

  6. One day Molly and Buddy are going to surprise you and just leave your quilt layout as it is....perhaps in about 10 years time! I love that print with the rabbits touching nose to nose!

  8. I'm glad you showed a close-up of the bunnies. I couldn't figure out what that black shape was, lol.
Yes, a photo of your layout would be an excellent idea.
