This month at the Rainbow Scrappy challenge we are using multicolor fabrics. My spools project is perfect for those colors, although I obviously skewed toward darker values.
Here are a collection of the spools I've made before. What you may not appreciate is that the design wall is bulging from behind these spools as Molly is attacking them from behind.
Who me? Don't you love a cat that has no idea that a camera is being pointed in her direction?
And here is a photo of a jack rabbit that my brother took on a recent camping trip. Apparently the rabbit wasn't camera shy either.
Buddy isn't camera shy as long as he can't see what you're doing.
Your spools are cool! I really like them set on point too. How do you manage to sneak up on Molly and get a picture? All the furbabies in my house have to be asleep like Buddy or else they are a blur. Love that jack rabbit! He's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour spools look great!! I need to get back on track with mine.
ReplyDeleteI love the variety of backgrounds on the spools as well as the spools. My multicolored bits and pieces all seem to tend toward the dark side too.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE that new black tie with the swirls!! You did a GREAT job of choosing fabrics that coordinate with all of your other Bow Tie blocks. Nice job!!
ReplyDeleteMolly was just born to model, wasn't she? And Buddy was born to... umm...
ReplyDeleteLove your spools!
Your multi-colored spools are great! Molly looks as though she's gazing adoringly at her mom. Buddy is an interesting dog, er... cat.
