The Idaho Square Dance (by Bonnie Hunter) is assembled. I will square it off and that will be that. I'm not going to add the piano key border Bonnie shows in her Addicted To Scraps book. I'm hoping that a simple red binding will be enough to tie it together.
Oh this came out beautifully--I like how you set those log cabins in all directions...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteFantastic! (This pattern wasn't on my list before I saw yours, ya know.) (I gave my SIL that book for Christmas - I may have to borrow it back for a bit...)
ReplyDeleteOh that is a great one!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I agree about the red binding.
ReplyDeleteI agree, looks great as is, a border would only distract for the pattern. Got to love a red binding to finish!
ReplyDeleteRed binding only----YES !!
ReplyDeleteI am a patriotic nut so just love this quilt. For what it is worth i think the red binding and no piano key borders is the way to go.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I think a simple red binding will look fantastic. I'm impressed that there are no cats or pony-dogs in the photo, too!
ReplyDeleteIt is just beautiful! Think the red binding would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteWow, that turned out beautifully! It wasn’t on my to-do list before, but it is now. The red binding will be the perfect finishing touch! Way to go!
