My bitcoin portfolio is assembled. This is made from the block that Cathy at Sane, Crazy, Crumby Quilts is making. She calls them Whatchamacallits. I definitely want to play with this block again. I'm thinking of making it square next time. The rectangles are one inch by two inch finished. So this quilt top is 62 inches by 80 inches.

ReplyDeleteI was on a random search to see what others are writing about bitcoin and then I found this. Nice work! I like it!
ReplyDeleteLovely array of colors in this one--hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what can be made from such a simple shape. I love this!
ReplyDeleteAmazing result!
ReplyDeleteI have been resisting these wonderful blocks but this quilt is really making it hard. I love the black and white border.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rainbow.
ReplyDeleteBetween this and your tiny spools, you're being way too tempting for my ability to resist...
ReplyDeleteSo many squirrels, so little time...
Just awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow!! A wonderful rainbow finish.
ReplyDeleteLove it! The border finihes it off perfectly!
ReplyDeleteWell worth the investment!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful rainbow of coins! I worked on mine this weekend - they are 2 x 4.5 finished, and not rainbow, but you're right, they are a lot of fun to make. I really like your border idea! I may steal it if I have enough fabric!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your coins generated a lot of interest!
ReplyDeleteI think Bitcoins is a better name for the blocks. Very clever. Like the layout too. Never even thought of a border or to arrange them by color in columns. I need to count mine. I think I need to make them for another year to have enough of them.
Wow! This is truly fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYour scrappy goodness just leaps from the screen...I love every project!!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous... I love this quilt... and it's sister quilt posted over at Cathy's today!!
ReplyDeleteCathy linked to this one in her post today -- a year and two months after you wrote this. What a great scrap-user and scrap-displayer! (Nice to meet you, too.)
