A lot of foursies became eights. But a lot of foursies remain to be paired.
And as a reminder, each spool is made from a different fabric. I laid out each spool by hue and value to make sure any duplicates were caught and removed.
And yet, as I have been sewing pairs, foursies and eights...here are four spools that I had to remove because I found they were duplicates. Unfortunately, I told Molly that if I found THREE duplicates, I would have to throw the whole project away. Molly has an excellent memory.
I just love these little spools!
ReplyDeleteNo no no... no throwing anything away!
ReplyDeleteyou would change the quilt name to "I Spy 1 Copycat"!
Perhaps Molly needs some spool catnip toys?
ReplyDeleteThe duplicates are just the start of a second spool quilt, right? So if there do turn out to be three alike, you'll just end up making three spool quilts. I'm sure it'll be fine.
