Sometimes you can spend all day sewing and have nothing to show for it. And sometimes you can spend all day just thinking about sewing and also have nothing to show for it.

This quilt was constructed from the remnants of a failed quilt project. I thought I could get a better photo of it in the morning, but I was wrong. Here in Portland, I mean, Virginia, it rains a lot so my photography options were limited.

Kaleidoscope. Okay, I may have some motivational issues. So this is the design from a year ago, turned into a kaleidoscope and then recolored.

Thread explosion revised.

Some tie-dye fun with friends. The shirt was briefly immersed in turquoise then dusted all over with dye powder. It attracted butterflies as it hung in the yard but they flew away when I got too close.
