Who knows what color is hot this month at the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge?
The owls are throwing a Fourth of July party where they plan to serve barbequed kittens.
And luckily for the owls, the black and white kitten has returned. She got very sick and wouldn't eat. Now she has a lot of studying to do to catch up in her coursework at Kitten University.

The yellow eyes really look great against the red owls. Poor kittens though, both the barbecued ones that the owls are eating and the little sick one. Hope he gets his appetite back soon.
My daughter loves owls. Is this your pattern or can I purchase it somewhere? I would love to make a pillow for her using this patter.
Love the patriotic owl - so dashing in his stars and stripes. Hope the little kitty feels better and recovers his appetite. Perhaps the thought of barbecue kittens has him frightened of those owls?
I think the red one may be my most favorite owl yet.
Hope the little kitty gets his appetite back soon. (Though the owls are probably hoping to fatten him up for the barbecue, eh?)
Love the owls... but not the plan to barbeque the kittens!! Poor kitty was probably sick with worry.. Hope all is back to the usual chaos soon! Like that you used kitten fabric to make that red owl.. maybe it will make him think twice about the barbeque.
Such cute owls! I can't wait to see them all together.
surprised the owls aren't sick, eating t shirts and all

those kittens are nothing but trouble. Cutting classes and all. The owls are just trying to keep order.........
Fabulous owls!
Those owls are just tooooooo cute!
I've heard that barbecued kitten is tough and stringy. Besides, they taste like chicken. I wouldn't think poultry would be on the owls' diet.
omgosh,I don't know what's cuter, the owls or the kitten............. okay, the kitten!
Love your red owl - and good to see the little black and white kitten back on board with you all - she just needs to watch those owls!!
The red owl looks great with the red feathery fabric around his face. But I hope you will survive the barbecue, since it looks like Mr. Red has already sampled the appetizers. Poor little kittens.
Your owls are so adorable. I look forward to seeing them in a finished quilt.
Love the red owl! That kitten looks so much like my Maxie. I hope she feels like eating again very soon. Mine swallowed the tip of a toy that blocked her stomach when she was itty bitty - $1000 surgery and 11 years later she is still my little monster! Hope yours feels better soon.
Fabulous owls! So glad the kitten is back at university . . . (looks remarkably like our dearly-departed Miss Angel did when she first came to live with us).
You owl is so cute.
