Batiks are the fabric selection for this last giveaway. Buddy was going to make the selection but I thought even the most fervent Buddy supporters would not be interested in ten taupe batiks.
Molly scolded me for saving the best for myself. That is, the batiks were packed in a bag and a box...and she thinks the bag and box are much better than all the lousy fabric. She wants to also offer opportunities to win plastic bags and beat-up cardboard boxes.
However, this is a FABRIC giveaway, so if you leave a comment, in a week, Molly will select a random winner of ten batik fat quarters. Feel free to voice your preference for a plastic bag and box versus fabric in your comment. But sorry, regardless of your preference, the winner receives the ten batik fat quarters.
I'd like my fq's in a box vs bag for obvious shipping concerns.
ReplyDeleteI saw a quote just yesterday 'dogs have owners and cats have servants!' That made me smile! I'd be super keen to get some fq's. emilyste7ens at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteSo true about cats. But our dog is pretty spoiled in her own right. These would fit right in with my other batiks. I love batiks, sometimes just to stroke them and coo at them. Hugs to Molly and Buddy
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who has a cat that loves to shred cardboard boxes to pieces. I enjoy Mollys episodes.
ReplyDeleteDear Molly,
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I prepare birds (chicken) or fish for dinner. However, if mice came in different colors I would reconsider.
PS - I'd love some batik FQ's in a bag. Kisses!
Batiks are one kind of fabric, I have not bought much of. In fact, if I won these I would quadruple what I have. Thanks for a chance. Karen kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI'm all out for the batik fabrics! Lovely! I prefer a box over a plastic bag. I can recycle the box. The plastic bag will hang around in the landfill forever.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Molly, but I'm with Staff on this. I much prefer fabric. And now that I'm working on "Damn Guitars" with batiks, I appreciate their potential. But Darla and Alfie think boxes are the bomb and serve so many wonderful purposes - caves, fortresses, beds, thrones.
ReplyDeleteI love batiks! Sorry Molly, my kitties already have plenty of boxes & I don't allow them to play with plastic bags.
ReplyDeleteOh those are luscious batiks! Yes, I am lusting after them just enough! McGee would like to follow up on Molly's idea of the boxes, he actually loves chewing the edges off the cardboard boxes our stuff comes in from Amazon!
ReplyDeleteSuzi loves a plastic bag! Chewing anything plastic is a great way to get staff attention and a sure way to get food in a bowl. Onl, tHen staff are free to sew fabric.
ReplyDeleteMy Samson loves the boxes of any any fabric I rummage through. He also likes to paw out anything that is in a plastic bag. Our felines are entertaining to say the least. Thes color batiks remind me of the tropics.

Well, Scampy loves to "chew" on plastic bags--all available plastic bags have teeth holes in them. Her Dr says that it "feels good on her teeth" ??? Really??? Plastic feels good on teeth?--Is the cat method of flossing ??? Please, a cardboard box---she sleeps in them !!
ReplyDeleteSome lovely batiks there. I would love to win some. Love the Molly and Buddy tales. dorthac at aol.com
ReplyDeleteMolly has wonderful taste in fabric. These batiks are beautiful. I believe I'll let her keep the box if I win -- I'd choose these lovely fat quarters
ReplyDeleteOh would love the batiks, I like boxes myself, but also use bags in a pinch...
ReplyDeletepyanorose@gmail.com hugs, Julierose
Batiks are my favorite fabrics - they have such depth. Even if the taupe ones 😊
ReplyDeleteOh wow, those are lovely! Thanks for the chance to win -- I'll be happy to let the kitties have the bags and boxes if I should be lucky enough to get the fabric!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Molly does not want to give away the lovely batik fabric....
ReplyDeleteThis old bag prefers fabric.
ReplyDeleteThe lovely fabric is definitely more fun for me than boxes or plastic bags! I'll be happy to share any bags and boxes with the cats....
ReplyDeleteBuddy isn't too far off - not quite 10 taupe batiks but getting into the brown range might have made him happy, or towards the grays. Your assistance has made for another very nice selection, though. Thanks for the chance to win. Samantha and Dainty say box all the way. Sorry, Mama says fabric and, in this case, Mama rules. I'll just have to get them a box myself. :)
ReplyDeletePatches says a box or paper bag. Plastic bags scare him. I prefer fabric. Thanks for these fun giveaways.
ReplyDeleteYay! The last time Hoss chose taupe-ish fabrics, I won them, and they are fantastic! I like his choice this time, too, so Mollie, please choose my name! And thank you for being so generous with your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThese batiks would feel right at home with my stash. I already have enough bags and boxes, but you can never have too many batiks.
ReplyDeletePat
Thanks for a chance to win, Molly!
ReplyDeleteDearest Molly ... I'll take fabric over bags and boxes any ol' day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful selection of batiks for some lucky person to acquire.
Thank you for sharing!
Molly, by golly! A bag full of Batiks in a box. I and my kitty reuse both.
ReplyDeleteI love batiks - totally my favorite
ReplyDeleteThis colour selection is gorgeous. Would love to win them.
ReplyDeleteWell, boxes are the most fun to sit in - much better than fabric or bags. But boxes are hard to sew, so there's that...
ReplyDeleteMolly wants the box to sleep in. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteSince I hope to move at some undetermined time, I am accumulating a box collection. My cats have yet to meet a box they did not need to explore. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway. It has been fun to see all the fabrics you have unpacked. I can only imagine all the other fabrics being organized. (shirparks@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteBatiks are beautiful. I think Buddy should jump out of the box and slide around the room on some tissue paper ( the wrapping kind - not the bathroom kind, although that works too). My Willy will jump and slide all over the house with tissue paper and the brown paper they use for packing in boxes. He likes to hide under the brown paper and wait until one of the girls walk by to jump out at them. Sorry to say I have had to use some of the bathroom paper to clean up the mess because he scared them so bad.
ReplyDeletegathering Batiks for us a quilt and would love to win these , box or bag , either way
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer paper to plastic, but of course fabric is best! Somehow none of my cats have gotten excited about boxes ... maybe they need a tutor

ReplyDeleteToo bad spell check does not like my first name spelling
ReplyDeletePlease forgive me for not looking at that...nice batiks

The bag v. box topic was always a hotly contested one with our felines. Alas, we are now charged for bags, so boxes are much easier to come by, especially with the advent of Amazon Prime. The one of us with opposable thumbs prefers fabric. Such pretty batiks!
ReplyDeletebolderbaker.at.gmail.dot.com
I find many uses for bags and boxes, but I'd never dream of taking away a box from Molly. I'd love the fabric instead. Batiks make me swoon! Thanks for the fun. I've really enjoyed watching your unpacking process!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful selection of batiks! I prefer a bag myself. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
Beautiful batik, would beat any designer collection of plastic bags and cardboard boxes....
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see what Molly chooses every day!
ReplyDeleteah, fabric for me please. I am currently catless, till we get into a real house. we're in a travel trailer at them moment, so no little loves to fit into a box or run with a bag dangling from her tail.
