Today we are reversing trend and picking happy fabric. Staff made the first selection: party headphones, bright yellow, butterflies, balloons and floating cat heads.
So Molly picked party fish, party paws, party cats and yummy prey. Buddy picked cats eating prey and cats playing. (Yes, those look like pandas to me too, but some discussions are not worth having and they do look a bit like Buddy.)
This is the second to last fabric giveaway where I am selecting fabric as I unpack from my move across the country. Some of the fabric was used as packing material and some of it was just packed. In any case, if you would like to win a fat quarter of each of these fabrics, leave a comment and Molly will pick a random winner one week from now.
Molly would like to know which you prefer to serve for a party: mice, birds, bats or fish.
As a vegetarian, I must answer gold fish. As in gold fish crackers.
ReplyDeleteWell, Gracie insists on 'bird'. Sometimes it's 'pig bird', 'cow bird', and of course 'bird bird' (chicken or turkey). She does not like 'pepperoni or potato bird'.
ReplyDeleteI think fish is a favorite all around here.
ReplyDeleteIf it is a party - ALL of them. And to get the party started why not bring them into the house live.
ReplyDeleteTell Molly we serve bird (chicken) around here. It is a happy selection. dorthac at aol.com
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fabrics! I think I'd stick with fish for my party, but if Molly would grace the party I'd have a buffet of all just for her. I would love to see a picture of your fabric when it is all unpacked and tucked away in its new home. I bet it is a sight of beauty! Especially with Molly & Buddy relaxing on top.
ReplyDeleteWe like the chicken kind of birds, but if I were a cat I would serve mice. Love the fabrics, I am sucker for novelty prints!
ReplyDeleteMice. I'll serve mice. No other purpose for them but party food. Party will be outside so you will be serenaded by birds while the bats eat the mosquitoes. I've got the fish stashed away to eat myself.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off on a tangent thinking of recipes. Buffalo bats, chocolate mouse, robin a l'orange...
ReplyDeleteFish. Because we are all mermaids here.
ReplyDeleteSmitty prefers mice. Sadie prefers birds. I'll stick with fish.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the party - balloons and headphones for me.
ReplyDeleteSince I love the Mad Hatters tea party, I would have to serve fish, so the other guests would not be offended. These fabrics would be fabulous for Wrap-A-Smile quilts. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the gold fish here when my grandson visits. He loves them and so do I. Thanks for a chance to win some fun fabric.

Definitely fish since tuna is a favorite of my cats. Love the fabrics and colors. Definitely happy fabric. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this wonderful giveaway. (shirparks@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteMice here! Along with squirrels....love those pesky rodents!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! We hate mice but we love birds...
ReplyDeleteLove the cats!!! and the party fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I lust after those kitty fabrics for the kennel quilts! Tell Molly we prefer to serve fish, party or not. Bats are kinda cute, mice are dirty and birds sing better than most of us.....
ReplyDeleteI guess I have to choose fish, since I have never eaten any of the others... Love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI prefer to serve fish, but McGee prefers to eat my fabric. However this afternoon he ate a book about the country Chile. I suspect he was thinking it might taste like chili!
ReplyDeleteI would pick mice. Small, tasty morsels... I am making quilts for the young people in my church (middle school age) that are going through confirmation and these bright fabrics would work great and bring some smiles 😊.
ReplyDeleteMy cat, Patches, prefers birds, although mice will do on occasion. I prefer fish.
ReplyDeleteWell, Mollie, since my children were little (YEARS and YEARS ago!), we have enjoyed our 'fried mouse' sandwiches from Arby's, so I would have to go with the mouse.
ReplyDelete[.....don't ask me why these sandwiches were dubbed 'fried mouse.' I have NO idea ...... But the girls LOVED them!]
I think birds would be my dinner of choice. Fish are OK if you knock them out of the fish bowl yourself, but because they smell fishy, you never know if they're spoiled or not.
ReplyDeleteI would serve all of them (cookies cut into the shapes and decorated) at a Halloween party. Thanks!

I love birds but honestly any would be wonderful. Isn't moving painful? Jmikebalou (at) aol (dot) com
ReplyDeleteyou forgot lizards! I have not seen a lizard in our yard in the 20 years we've lived here, but our last cat consistently found them and brought them in to play with... the current crew would prefer birds! (although they only get to look, not chase)
