I'm still working on the dementor/tormentor quilt. I have a large stack of strips that have to be trimmed into two inch sections. Happily, I can nestle two strips on top of each other to cut two at a time.
And I'm still putting together the chickens with horizontal sashing.
And then I'm going to surround them with rainbow chicken wire.
And yes, I like fabric, but not as much as Buddy likes playing laser mouse. Molly likes to set up strategic pounces, while Buddy prefers pure frenzy.
Videos, please!
ReplyDeleteMy dear Molly, I know exactly what you mean about the laser mouse. I work and work and work, setting up my purrsition and I am certain that I will catch the mouse, then the Cat of Darkness...what’s her name?...oh yes, Shady runs through like a cat out of hell and ruins the whole thing. It’s very exaspurrating. I’ll be coming home to you soon, my beloved. Fondly, Smitty
ReplyDeleteFabulous chicken wire border fabric - will you leave a hole or keep them penned in? I once left a hole in chicken wire quilting, and my rooster became Fred, the Fugitive!
ReplyDeleteLove the rainbow chicken wire. It's perfect for surrounding a rainbow brood.
ReplyDeleteAnd fyi - laser mouse is called green alien when you play it with itty bitty grandkids.
The chicken wire is a great idea. It will keep them safe from Molly's clawing and Buddy's headon attacks (or maybe not).
ReplyDeleteRainbow chicken wire! Soooo perfect! Alfie and Darla love the laser, too. And like with your two, it’s Darla that is methodical and Alfie who pounces with wild abandon. He is also the only one of our two that likes the digital mouse game on the iPad.
ReplyDeleteAwesome quilt 😃
ReplyDeleteHow brilliant is rainbow chicken wire for this quilt? Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh, rainbow chicken wire is perfect! (I've been collecting chicken wire prints for my cluckers quilt, but haven't come across rainbows yet. Oh, goody! A quest for fabric! Shopping ho!)
