I indulged my recent obsession with hourglass blocks but gave up the usual two color scheme to not only indulge "all the colors" but also "all the color combinations." Instead of "Broken Dishes," let's call this one "Broken Fiestaware". The quilt is 34 inches square and is quilted along the diagonals.

OMG, I LOVE this!!
Wow, this is beautiful. And so much work. Congratulations on your finish.
love it!
Great job!!! Love it!!!
I've been wondering where you were heading, and I love the result! It's beautiful!
PERFECT name for your beautiful challenge project. I tried your method of making the hourglass units. Great fun but I had to be careful ironing or the bias edges started waving at me.
Super naming for this piece--really apropos...this is looking great...hugs, Julierose
Gorgeous! I love it!
I'm sorry to hear that you broke your Fiestaware, Sally. It sure did make a pretty quilt, though!!
Holy cow, you made that in one week! It is gorgeous!
WOW!!! And again, WOW!!!
Love the name, too! (though "a Buddy in a china shop" also suggests itself...)
Love it--very happy, even if you broke your Fiesta Ware
Love this, but isn't it Shards of Fiestaware? Regardless, it a winner.
Pat
I can't begin to tell you how much I love this quilt--and it's perfect name. It brings back memories of visiting my dad's cousin whose kitchen was resplendent with Fiestaware. As a kid I wished I could have those dishes in our home.
Love the name of the quilt and the quilt itself.
A great adaptation of Broken Dishes! I remember Fiestaware!
It sparkles with all the colors and values!
I love Fiestaware. Reminds me of my maternal grandmother. I would not care to see Fiestaware broken unless it looked like this - fantastic!
This is beautiful! Great work!
