As the quilt top expands, it becomes harder to keep sections of it out of the shadows...so please pardon the lighting, or lack thereof. In any case, this is what I consider the quilt top's baseline. I now need to decide how long I want it, and whether or not to add columns. And if I add columns, I will be adding them on both sides. Right now it would finish at 51 by 60 inches...so yes, it will need to grow a bit in all directions.

Looks great. I would have to put skinny dividing strips in or risk a whopping headache, but you are doing just fine.
Yay! (Though I'm surprised you could get a photo of it without a cat or two dangling off it...)
Is it just my eyes is it Molly, one strip appears longer than the others.
I do love this pattern!! The pieces must be quite small given the present measurements, must look back in your posts to see if you have the sizing there.
