I always underestimate how long it takes to make a log cabin block. Twenty seams per block. Happily, I am not using the seam ripper as much as when I began.
Love the shift to purple--quite a surprise;)))) Log Cabin is not all that simple to get straight I feel. Are you pre-cutting logs to size or just cutting as you go (cutting as you go is how I usually sew them)?? Then there is the strip method which I also like.. Nice work on these hugs, Julierose
Wow, I thought it was looking so good with just the green. But now I remember you were doing other colors. I need to select colors of scraps to use instead of everything. But all fabric has worth and a place in a quilt, right?
