Woodpecker Hexies
Here is my set of hexies for woodpeckers. As you can see, I couldn't find a lot of fabrics featuring woodpeckers. As Cathy at Crazy by Design would say, the woodpeckers are good for the Knock, Knock part, but you need an owl for the actual joke. And that's why there is more fabric featuring owls than woodpeckers.
Of course, jokes reminds me of the staff meeting we had today. Molly presented hours of graphs showing that the "new fabric" epidemic was swamping the "start a new quilt" epidemic. She illustrated her point by biting Buddy's tail, and he countered by nipping at her ears. So not knowing what day it is might be the least of my problems.

That Molly sure does know how to wrap up a staff meeting! What a leader!
I finally got around to making your I Spy block from your post on 8/20/2014. It was a lot of fun making them. Thanks for sharing your tutorial. You can see what I have made so far at my blog giraffedreams (blogspot).
Molly can come on over here (unless she’s quarantined too) and hold a staff meeting with Alfalfa and Darla. They’ve given up work (Darla was Sewing Supervisor and Alfie was the Neighborhood Watchcat) and just lay around napping all day. The only exponential growth around here is the quantity of handmade masks. Calgon, take me away!
Last year, a very confused woodpecker drilled a large hole in the neighbor's chimney (the fake kind for a gas stove. ) This year, he decided to try a bite of mine! Mine must not be as tasty as he gave up quickly.... or maybe he didn't like the swivel-head owl we added to our outdoor decor!
you sure have a lot of wildlife fabric prints! Those furrrrrkitties sure get into mischief!
