Molly was quite unhappy with the break from the blog. She has devised a scheme for world domination and wants to implement it immediately. Buddy and I have spent the last three months avoiding telling her it's a dumb idea. But then, saying no to a kitten is also a fool's mission, especially when the kitten is nine years old.
Also under the category of fool's mission is the postage stamp quit. All of the bits are now 16 patches and I am arranging them on the design wall. Of course, I need to find each one its best match, so its a bit slow. Each postage stamp is 3/4 inch, so the 16 patch is 3 inches finished.
I have also begun working on the Stonefield quilt by Susan Smith and have now finished the first five months. Tonight I'll start Month 6.

Welcome back, Sally and Kitties:}}}
Missed your posts a lot--hope you had a great break;)))
I love love love how your postage blocks are coming together--talk about a labor of love. I so want to make another one (I gifted my first two) this coming year...I would use 1.5" sqs though--even that size I find hard to sew accurately!!!
Your Stonefield quilt is really looking beautiful in those soft colors...

AppliquƩ!
Lovely to see a post from you, Sally, and the kittens. The Stoneyfield blocks are looking terrific. On the postage stamp quilt, 3/4”?!?!?! Wow, just, wow.
I was just thinking about you this morning and now, catching up on 2 days of blog posts, here you are. You know, you are never going to use up your stash when you are cutting 3/4" squares (but I know how much you like tiny pieces).
Hooray! You are back!!! I missed hearing what you are doing and the antics of Molly and Buddy!
I'm delighted to see all three of you back!
(and delight has been hard to come by lately...)
