Quilting and Assemblying

Here's the turquoise baby quilt after machine quilting. I simply quilted in the ditch along the squares and then across both diagonals making an X in each block. All very simple. I probably should have tried something more interesting given how easy it is to quilt such a small quilt. It's 36 inches square.

I am also continuing to assemble the Dear Jane quilt. I have been sewing the individual blocks into 3 by 3, 3 by 4 and 4 by 4 sections. I have only two more sections to assemble before I start sewing the sections together.

  1. Great progress on DJ. Very slow this side of the pond. I am removing papers too.

  2. Your baby quilt is sweet!your Dear Jane quilt is looking wonderful!

  3. They are AWESOME! I love, love, LOVE both of them.
