And here is the eighth block from Tula's Modern Quilt Block book.
As I am making blocks from my current stash, some of my future stash is taking a vacation in Puerto Rico. In October, I ordered some fabric from a shop in New York. (For those who would question why I might be buying any more fabric in this lifetime, please see the lengthy soul searching introspection in my other blog TediousLaments.) The package's travel itinerary showed it left New York and had settled in New Jersey. I filled out an online form asking USPS when my package would be coming home and they said they would get back to me in 3 days. Instead, the log of the package showed that it arrived in Puerto Rico on Nov 3 and then moved to another spot in Puerto Rico the next day. At this point I am assuming the package is looking for a location with a weather delay.
