It was fun to see some flakes though! I hope the early flakes aren't a sign of things to come. I'm not interested in blizzards. We haven't had snow before Christmas since we moved here. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. I always enjoy reading your blog. Love your block and I am glad the sewing room mice were able to pass the all important bylaw prohibiting outside mice from their territory.
Oh, I love your block fabrics. That b/w fabric is a lot of fun and is perfect for this block! No special technique here. I just cut enough for four and then sew them together. That's about my limit before I get bored with sewing them and move on to something else. I hate appliqueing those circles so am doing them as I go so I don't have a bunch to do all at one time at the end like she does in the book. I'm glad you're making one. I'm making mine larger than the one in the book.
