Pin Basting Help

If you were Molly the Kitten Cat, you would have had a very bad day today. You would have tried to help layer a vintage spin quilt and would have been locked out of the sewing room twice. When it wasn't even your fault.

It should be obvious from the photos, that a very ridiculous quilter is attempting to layer a vintage spin quilt while leaving big holes in the quilt. If you were a dedicated quilting assistant, you would get under the quilt top, stick your head through the holes, and than try to tussle your way out.

Then when you were let back into the studio, you would obviously start pulling the batting out of the holes. Of course, those safety pins would make it difficult, so you would have to pull at the batting extra hard. Then the next time you're let back in the sewing room...

Oh goodness! That baby just wanted to help. Such torture for poor kitties. Amazing quilt- don't tell Molly I said so. ;)

She must have been astonished at how ungrateful you were. Such earnestness and helpfulness being rejected? Wut?

I cannot imagine why you just won't listen to Molly, her advice is just creative critique.

Molly, what can I tell you? Humans are Ingrates. My mom and dad hide under the covers when I try to wake them up at 4:30 so they can start their day. You did a stellar job pointing out the holes in your mom's cool quilt. Alfalfa

When are you going to be teaching Molly how to open the pins and baste with you?
