Feline Reinterpretation of Dear Jane

As promised, here is Buddy and Molly's reinterpretation of the Dear Jane quilt. You may notice that one of the labels was removed from a block and left artfully in the middle of a large empty area. Very modern. Please also notice that there is a remnant of Molly's feather boa toy off to the far right. I think that most critics will agree that that choice is a bit too "matchy matchy" (as they say in the art world).

And of course, a detail shot is required to show off the careful block layering and section wadding. Having two blocks set exactly on the diagonal establishes an interesting contrast to the intricate mass of stacking and folds.

Love it -- you have a couple of very talented cats!

It certainly brings fresh eyes to a standard piece.

Definitely the crush of the future! I knew it was only a matter of time before a cat rose to the occasion and finally threw it's hat into the ring for consideration as designer extraordinaire. And, of course, it would be Molly =^..^=

Truly inspired! Maybe we should all be smoking catnip.
