Baby quilt and Stonefield

Here's a second baby quilt waiting for its binding.

And the Stonefield star block is finished. It has a lot of layers. I cut away some of the extra fabric, but there is still quite a fabric mountain left with this piling on applique technique.

And here is the pink sunrise that greeted us this morning.

Oh woe, I should get up early sometime to see the su rise. But it's best when I can sleep late and my friends take photos.

I love that baby quilt, is there a pattern? Or a post for directions? Beautiful sky!

Love the baby quilt pattern - I have some fabrics here just waiting to be used in a design like that! Did you use a pattern or is it one of your originals?

There's been pink sunrises and sunsets here too lately. Makes getting up worthwhile.

I just love what you are doing with the Stonefield blocks. I have some Dresdens I need to cut away on back but can't bring myself to do so. I'm scared. I don't trust myself to do a good job and not cut into the fabric on top.

Cute baby quilt. I'm also wondering about the pattern.
