I made several more vintage spin blocks than I need, but it is a highly addictive block. It's fun to pick the fabric combinations, somewhat fun to cut the wedges, and gratifying to watch it sew together so quickly. Now we will have to see how much fun it is to lay out for placement given there are two too many helpers in the sewing room.
Buddy is working on his posing fundamentals but Molly thinks he needs to take Elementary Paw Placement first. Buddy thinks he should continue working on his dissertation on Ambushing and Biting Hurricanus Mollicus.

Cute blocks!! Cute Buddy, too. I didn't know he spoke Latin.
Molly doesn't understand the Avant Garde approach to Paw Positioning. Which is possibly why Buddy feels the need to bite her.
Love those Spin blocks!
Oh really love that purple spinner--these are so neat...hugs, Julierose
I can see how easily these Vintage Spin blocks could quickly become addicted and if I hadn't so much going on I would be tempted with them, this was one of the original quilts I marked when Kathy's book came out.
Love the intent expression from Buddy, he looks as if he's going to be one pretty big cat when fully grown.
I agree! They are very addictive. Can't wait to see how they look in a double sided quilt.
