Here is a red owl who is wearing his festive winery finery hoping to earn a red rose from the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge. However, there is some contention within the owl community as to what it means to be a red owl. An owl can't be totally red or the eyes, beak, wings and feet get visually lost. This owl chose to go with the red body.
This owl chose to accessorize with red. She thinks less is more.
And this is Buddy demonstrating mastery of the cutting table...one of the requirements for changing from being Buddy the puppy to Buddy the cat.
And yes, I am worried about how the sewing room and I will cope with TWO cats supervising the quilting activity.

Hahaha! "Red Owl" sparked a childhood memory - our neighbor worked at the local Red Owl grocery store, so I immediately had to Google up some images. I like your owls better. I'm sorry to hear Buddy is no longer a puppy, but whatever - he's adorable!
Your owls are super cute!!!
I love your plump little owls!
Maybe you can persuade Molly and Buddy to supervise in shifts?
Well, the controversy between winery finery and Less is More will rage on, because both owls are way too cute to pick a favorite. And Buddy is making strides, but still looks as though he doesn't quite trust the camera.
The second owl looks like she's laughing. Sorry, Molly, but I do like Buddy.
My, what big eyes your owls have! (For some reason they look bigger in these two than in previous birds I've seen.) They're delightful.
Love those cute owls. It looks like Buddy is very comfy in your sewing room.
What a pair! He looks like an elegant Prince Charming and she is his Cinderella, even to her glass slippers. Buddy seems to be turning into an acrual house cat. What will you do for peace and quiet?
I'm not sure whether the owls of the cat are cuter, but both made me smile. The prints look so good on the owls.
These are so cute!
all so sweet.
Two more gorgeous owls and the prospect of two cats ruling the sewing room - honey of a photo of Buddy.
