Winners Announced

We had a bit of a heat wave, so I only got in a bit of quilting. Happily, I found a whole new bin of bits and I cut postage stamps from them. Along with the heat wave, Buddy and Molly no longer have heated beds and mats to fight over, so Molly returned to full time supervision...that looks a lot like sleeping on my cutting mat.

I did, however, cut fabric and pack up the giveaway fabric for the four winners:

1. Anonymous (first comment)

2. Cindy F

3. Cherie Moore

4. Susan

The packages were dropped off at the post office yesterday and should arrive either tomorrow or Monday.

To make up for a lack of quilting content, I would love to show you glamorous garden photos, but these scene stealers had a melt down during the heat wave.

And frankly, my garden has an eery, demented side so that it becomes challenging to crop photos to look glamorous and not make children cry.

Huh. I'd been blaming feral/outdoor cats on the dropping bird population.

Looks like you've got quite a triffid infestation there.

So excited to win, thank you again. Hope you’re getting some relief from the heat waves….as in hope they are waving goodbye from the backseat of the heat dome express.

Love that “bit” of cat face fabric! Hope Buddy & Molly don’t think there’s new competition in town. I previously marveled at the estate sales of fabric you find in your area. Lo and behold, I have been invited to one this weekend. We hardly ever have fabric estate sales - planning on being there early. May everyone’s A/C not give up the Freon - normal temp is 100 these days. Beth in AL

Thank you so much! Looking forward to fondling the fabric when it arrives. :) We're in a heat wave too but should be under 100 tomorrow. I have some garden areas that no amount of cropping would help. Hoping the cooler weather gives me the incentive to attack them before it heats up again.

I love my give away fabric! It came in the same mail as my mom's 100th birthday card from the White House and she said several times that the fabric was probably for her too. We have agreed to share.

Thank you again,
Ceci

I like the cat face postage stamp above too.
I received my fabric and it's wonderful. My husband liked most of it too! So thank you and Buddy and Molly if she helped with it too.
