Pink Postage and Spiral Log Cabin

I'm continuing to make doll quilts from the parts department. I was making heart pillows out of pink postage stamp blocks. For this quilt, I already had the center and lots of pieced strips. These doll quilts will be donated to my local quilt guild. It's nice to have free playtime with a deadline.

And I finished the binding on the small spiral log cabin quilt.

Here's the back of the spiral log cabin.

That's a perfect backing for the log cabins. And I'm increasingly intrigued by that block - looks like fun as long as you pay strict attention!

I have a ton (yes a ton:}} ) of postage stamp squares left over from "The Curious Quilters'" swap a few years ago and I love your take on using squares...since I am moving to smaller pieces this coming year I will "steal" your layouts;)) hahaha hugs, Julierose

What fun doll quilts! I think that’s a great way to use up parts and experiment with designs and layouts. I’m a bit envious!
