Stash Enhancement Warning

Another quilt guild meeting and another handful of wonderfully weird prints for the spool collection. There were two teal and pink fabrics, one dark and one light. Took me back to the 90s. In addition, there was a bit of beige fabric with purple roses and a graphic black and white celebrating the centennial.  I also took advantage of two online sales and an IRL sale of batiks.

(where IRL = in real life)

Here is a selection of lights with some bright pink cats as balance.

And now that I live in Portland, I try my hardest to avoid Fabric Depot. Except that they are having a sale on batiks...and I am looking for chameleons...

  1. Oh my, living near Fabric Depot could be dangerous for the budget!

  2. Talk about a dangerous area--plus a batik sale, yikes hugs, Julierose

  3. Always fun to see new fabrics! There are definitely chameleons hiding in that batch of batiks. Crafty little guys :)

  4. I keep trying to enhance my lights for backgrounds, then lament that I'm buying to much fabric when I already have more than I'll ever be able to use. But then another sale appears or I visit a quilt store while traveling and tell myself I'll probaby never get back to that store. I'm sure you understand.

  5. Those neutrals did need some balancing out by the bright cats fabric. But if those owls, bugs and birds disappear, don’t be surprised!

  6. Batiks on sale? Ahhhhhh... (I never met a batik I didn't like)
