Spiderweb 2.0

Yes, there are recurrent infections in patchwork. I think the spiderweb lies dormant among a lot of us. And frankly, I'm not too unhappy that I caught this one. Plus, I have been preparing for this project/infection. As I've been cutting the fabric for the large and small spools, the remaining sections of the strips are saved for this.

I have a bag of kites and mult-colored strings waiting to begin assembly as a spiderweb quilt too. It was going to be for our multi-colored RSC month, which didn’t materialize. So, it’s on the agenda for winter. Anyway, your block looks very striking with the orange accent as the first stripe.

I love this block. Oddly enough, despite being a Halloween freak and making at least two quilted Halloween items per year, I have never made a web quilt. Where did you get this pattern?

this is on my to do list as well, got a bin of strings for it, and bought a cheddar solid for the 'background'. It is waiting for its time to be born as a first block yet.
