The End of Postage

Here are the last postage stamp blocks for the Pandemic Postage Stamp quilt. Luckily, there are only six of them because my county is also seeing more instances of COVID and is going back to limiting group gatherings to six people. I mean blocks. And these are not six feet apart...so I have some serious redesigning to consider.

Have really enjoyed seeing your postage stamp blocks come together. Between them and the zippers. Well my mind is spinning. Everyone needs to keep the quilt ideas out there as we hunker down again.

Well luckily that quilt will be plenty big enough for you and the kitten and the pony to hunker down under! Happy stamping!

I think those postage stamps are distancing with the solid squares to keep them apart. Hopefully with the vaccine, we will be able to get back to normal again.

So glad that The End of Postage came after the election. You could always “socially distance” them with sashing, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Lovely blocks, as usual.

I worked up a postage stamp quilt earlier this year, actually, pre-Covid as I was able to share it with my local quilt group before the shutdown in March. The project was rather addictive and a lot of fun. It will be a challenge for you to ensure social distancing while sewing the blocks together. I am envisioning much hand sanitizing and quarantining in your future.

Love it---no social distancing with sashing, Just butt them up :-)
