Pink and Green Ringo

Today we made geese to go play at Ringo Lake. I am substituting lime green for coral. These are for the second part of Bonnie Hunter's annual mystery quilt. She provided three techniques for the geese. I went with the method that uses her ruler. I usually just use flip triangles because it forgives sloppy sewing. But in this case, there would have been a lot of fabric waste.

And here is the combination of part one and two. Do you think I'm close to guessing the mystery? Ha!

Your colours are so gorgeous! This is going to be a beautiful quilt, however all the bits go together.

You have a chosen some lovely fabrics. Well, the ratio of geese to 9-patches is right, so who knows!

Your blocks are just super fun! I don't know...that would be one way to solve it, but Bonnie makes it...a mystery!! Can't wait for clue three!

Even if that isn't the way Bonnie has it, it would make a really nice design. Love your colors, too.

My only guess for the quilt is that it's going to be a two-block quilt, which really generates a lot of possibilities for guessing wrong!
Love your bright happy colors!

Great work on these! You are another person who has arranged the first units in such an interesting way that it may rival what Bonnie reveals later!

Looks like a pretty good guess to me!!!

love those colors! I started bonnie's mystery one year.......and was overwhelmed with the 2,347 blocks in each step.

Wow, your quilt is going to be fabulous in pink and green! I went with the wasteful method because that’s what I’m comfortable with, but I’ve got lots of trimming to do!
