Gone Fishing

The fish are finally together. It went swimmingly. And now that their pointed noses are embedded in a seam, they finally have blunt noses.  Well...except for the ones in the front column who have to wait for me to figure out how wide the side borders should be.

Although I have been quilting for quite a while, I am open to learning new techniques. In this case, I learned  that it is better to just walk away rather than try to cut fabric around a kitten.

Buddy, however, does not like to learn new things. So now he is sporting yet another swollen paw because he won't learn to not put his paw in his sister's face.

Aw, Buddy's just checking his data - "Do I get this outcome *every* time?"
Love those fishies!

I think you’re a genius! Developing a technique where I *cough* - er, ANYONE could purposely cut off a point to get a blunt-nosed fish is revolutionary. Poor Buddy, more brawn than brains. I know another male cat like that… Molly is looking particularly cute!

Things sound real tought up in your area. Makes my outdoor art show yesterday that was rained on all day seem like nothing. It seems like the buddies are coping ok except for sneak attacks. Hope you get out the browns palette soon.

Molly just wanted to make sure you didn't wear out your arm from too much repetitive motion. Hope the heat isn't as bad this time.

Pretty good catch of fish there. Will the fish on the tail end (right side) get their fins blunted when you add the borders? Poor Buddy. Cute Molly.

Buddy, typical guy. Doesn't want to learn except the hard way.
