February Fabric Giveaway Starts Now!

Everything seemed a bit topsy turvy this week. I did finish a quilt for the Project Quilting Challenge.

And I successfully restored Molly's princess tent to its fully glory.

Unfortunately, Molly decided she now prefers one of the heated beds in the picture window, and Buddy decided he preferred the one that Molly was in and the fighting resumed. And I know the first question is...who would just stand there taking pictures during a cat slap fight?

And, of course, the real problem is not between Molly and Buddy, but in their surroundings.

Buddy is suffering from "too much stash" syndrome, and he would like to rename the "Free Table" giveaway to be the "Free the Table for Buddy" giveaway.

Everything is the same as before...if you would like to receive a package of fabric (scraps or hunks or whatever will fit in a USPS priority mailer), leave a comment below stating what you would like...teal scraps, batiks, novelty prints of cats, Kaffe scraps, hand-dyes, white lights, cream lights etc.

We will collect comments through 11:59 PM 02-22-2022 (Tuesday), then Molly will randomly select TWO comments to win the giveaway. NO REPLY bloggers will be excluded because there is no way to get in touch with you unless you leave an email address in your comment. If you have trouble leaving a comment, you can also just email me and I will have Molly include your request in the random drawing.

Unfortunately, the giveaway is confined to those confined to U.S. domestic mail.

So please help save Buddy from my stash (or save the stash from Buddy).

How will you help Buddy?

Well, now. I'll just go for 'Buddy's Choice' and leave it at that. (I'd go for 'Molly's Choice' but I'm afraid she'd try to ship Buddy again...)

I've heard a nasty rumor that the blogger gremlins have been at it again and now everyone's comments are coming through as "no reply." I'll happily receive any scraps Buddy wants to share except halloween prints - have enough of those at the moment. amityquilter2008 at gmail dot com. Thanks!

Cheerful bright prints are always fun for charity quilts. Always willing to help out a cute cat!

Some bright cheerful scraps would be great. Molly and Buddy can be trusted to pick good ones.

I'm always wishing for more light/low volume fabrics for my scrappy quilts. Maybe that will clear some space for Buddy.

Well, my cat only goes for newly done quilts or ones waiting to get finished piecing or binding (last blog post). So far, he has not discovered my heating pad for my neck. I would love batiks and hand dyes. Actually I love anything but browns, homespun, and dark repro fabrics. In the old days when computer monitors were mammoth, one of my cats used to lay on top of it for the warmth. Every once in a while when I was not expecting it, she would cat slap me across the face in a one, two motion and lay back down again.

Life with cats is never boring. I would be happy with any scraps but could really use cheddar, mustard, gold or yellow - solids, prints or stripes. Thank you for the opportunity to enter the giveaway. (shirparks@gmail.com)

Any color scraps would be welcome -- esp. those with flowers.

Molly and Buddy have such a rough life lolling around all that gorgeous fabric. Please have them choose their favorite Kaffe scraps to send a package to me! duchick at gmail dot com

Well, Buddy needs something to do besides bug Molly, so let him pick, but tell him batiks, novelty prints of cats, neutrals, and music related. And if you want to send Buddy here too, that would be okay :-)

Goodness! Buddy does carry on, doesn’t he ;-). If selected I would love purple scraps.

I'd be happy to help Buddy clear off his table! Anything Buddy chooses would make a fun package. Thanks for the giveaway!

Although I salivate at the very thought of Kaffee scraps, I'd also be happy with a surprise! Thanks for the fun...

Good morning! Cat prints or cream lights would be great to receive from Buddy. I have been making scrappy quilts to donate to the humane society and for baby quilts to donate. Thank you for this opportunity. Barb Hayden at rickhayden@comcast.net

Oh, Buddy’s offer is too tempting! I would take anything he wants to part with. All my quilts go to charities. Thank you, Buddy, for sharing and keeping your owner’s stash from burying her! marciinidaho@yahoo.com.

Instead of slap fights, my kitties resort to aggressive grooming when they want possession of an already occupied bed. My brother is turning 40 this summer and I'm making him a scrappy double four patch quilt to celebrate. Maybe Buddy could pick out some blues and some cat prints to add to the quilt?

Those pictures are awesome. The slapfight pic is amazing! I just can’t get over how cute your pix are. Fabric? Yes please. Virtually no aqua left in my house, and brights, kids stuff always welcomed for my Quilts for Kids. If you include a cat or two, I’ll pay the postage, LOL!

I would love to help Buddy out by taking some 30's prints and/or blues. Thanks for sharing! ktyoung1(at)gmail(dot)com

Kaffe scraps or neutral scraps or blue scraps or novelty scraps or any scraps would be wonderful Buddy! Thanks!!

Dear Buddy and Molly,
We no longer have cats living with us. We are glad to hear about the nice life you have. I would love to help with the stash problem in your house. Please send me that nice bright blue piece in the picture with you upside down and other blues like that. And try to get along so your person doesn't have to ask for our help

Buddy and Molly seem awfully frisky. Did they get a fresh supply of catnip (or maybe the catnip got buried in the fabric scraps)? Bright, rainbowy multi-colors, Kaffe, and/or novelty prints would be lovely. I shouldn't be a no-reply, but just in case - pate393(at)gmail(dot)com

I think Buddy would recommend freeing the bright scraps. I would be happy to help out Buddy!

Yellow scraps, please.
OR I wanted to try to make a quilt out of orange and lime green (which sounds putrid, I know, but...) so orange and/or lime green scraps.

Ok...so oopps...I see you already closed the drawing but I'll comment anyway.
